It’s good to see that CommBank is as keen as ever to maintain its position at the forefront of banking innovation, long after Andy Lark‘s departure.
This approach also highlights at least two key facts about banking innovation:
1. the importance of driving the open banking model: building the bank of the future will require to work with an ecosystem of partners including your employees, your customers, banking influencers and third parties.
2. it’s not difficult to generate ideas. The challenge lies in your ability to implement them and deliver on the most valuable suggestions.
